I Love Sundays

So Sophia is doing SO much better. She started her antibiotics on Friday (I'm sooo glad we went to the pediatrician pre-weekend) and by Saturday afternoon we had our little smiling, laughing (dramatically with the head tilted back and everything-- this is her new thing) girl back. Last night was the first night in what feels like a couple of weeks that she hasn't woken up at SOME point in the night. She was finally back to normal, even a little better, sleeping from 6:30pm to 7:30am and waking up happy. We were ALL happy.

We had stake conference, naps, family time outside on our new patio furniture on a perfect Sunday evening, AND chocolate chip cookies, the normal ones, not the whole wheat oatmeal ones, Ross' choice. Today was a good day.

This isn't our new patio furniture or anything, just a picture with my sweet husband because I liked it.

Do you have early church? Because we have nine am now and it feels SO good. Devin has to be at the church at 6 am, but he gets to come home so we have the afternoon together. I'm looking forward to some time like you did yesterday. And I think I'll make chocolate chip cookies today just because you made them sound really good.

Ok so how in the world do I get Ave to sleep in until 7? She goes to be between 6 and 6:30 but is up at 6 and I would love another hour:)

You are so cute Lillie. I read that you copy Karisa's look and I'd like to copy yours. Can you post some of your styles? Maybe we should start a blog together with Sarah and it can be all about fashion, makeup and politics?

I'd love to see a picture of your new furniture in your pretty backyard. Wes and I are going to start bidding out having our tiny backyard landscaped & I'd love to see more photos of your yard! Mine will have to be a miniature version, of course. :)

You are so beautiful! Really, it's breathtaking. I love seeing the happy couple and am glad you clarified that the furniture wasn't your new patio fare because that was my first thought. Please take photos of your yard and furniture, I'm dying to see it.

Sigh, I love Sundays too, though they're a social day in addition to all of the good church stuff. There are always dinners or dessert parties or firesides... I look forward to just being with the few people I love in the future. Karisa is the cutest, isn't she? Always had the best style and carries it still - raiding her closet post-Europe to borrow clothes was the funnest. I think she's in Utah now with her fiance (he's still in school).

Mis, I love your blog idea... though I couldn't contribute much in the fashion dept, I've have some new makeup finds and live in the political hub!

I just want to leave a comment because this is something I have never done before. I am inspired by all of your comments, however random and mindless some of them might be becasue I feel like I am a person who never actually takes the five seconds to make a comment. It is not like I have other busy important things I am doing, because lillie knows that I certainly don't, but becasue hitting the comment button is somehow intimidating, its a commitment, like then I have to think of something to say...kind of like writing in a journal is intimidating to me. Anyway, great blog lillie, I read and looked over the entire thing. John and I feel so blessed to be your friends, and to live in the same blasted desert.
