The Office- or some of it

So I never got the pictures I wanted. I realized on Valentines Day when I stopped in Ross's office that I happened to have my camera in my purse (does that make me a true blogger or what?) It was already set in sepia, I snapped a couple, and then the dreaded "out of power." It closed itself and that was all I got. No color, no diploma wall, no room span. But I decided to post them anyway. At least it gives you an idea, for all who were holding their breath for the highly anticipated office photos.
On another note- what is going on with my little animal? She has decided to go from a 7:30 wake up time to 6:30 on Monday, 6:00 Tuesday, and yes... 5:30 today. Lucky for me my sweet husband knows how much I value my bed in the morning and has been the first this week to jump up and get her. But I'm just not the same when the day starts out dark. It's not my thing. I know early mornings breed successful people, but I am a night owl... through and through.

We're having the missionaries for dinner tonight and one is brand new so the other one asked us to have a green meal for the greeny. On the menu-- tortilla soup (greenish from the green enchilada sauce), cornbread (I'm very apprehensively planning on adding green food coloring), green salad of course, and cup cakes with green frosting... because I wanted something I could frost green. Kind of a gross idea but at least it's green. It could be a lot worse, an all white meal? Yuck.
That's all I got.

oooooohhhh! The office looks great!! How fun to have a little room to decorate. Although I do find it hard decorating for men... they act like they don't care but then have secret feelings about things. At least Dave does. Does Ross like it?

Just when I thought I was the ONLY one in the world starting my day at 5:30am! So good (yet feel so bad for you) to hear it's happening somewhere else too. It's killing me! For the past 10 days, I hear this major scream ,"mommy, where are you?"
"Mommy, I hold you!" It's non-stop until I go in. Fortunately, I smile because 1)I am a morning person, and 2)it melts me still, even with #4 to hear my baby calling for me. BUT, I am wasted all day and seriously feel like I could go to sleep for GOOD at 3pm. It's rough. Brian leaves at 5 when he's here, so it's all me :) Good thing is, I think (see how I don't even know with having 4) that it's a phase....please be a phase :) Oh, and Ross' office is awesome....fun stuff!

I love the dad and babe shot... like she completely understands what's on the computer screen, and is ready to offer her two cents if needed.
I actually like the sepia look. I'm sure color will be awesome too, but everything is so coordinated that way.
I am so with you on the waking up when it's dark being a HUGE bummer thing. We tend to "fix" this problem by having our kid go to sleep way later than normal children. 9pm is usually his bedtime, although we try for more like 8:30. I guess we don't have as much time at night, but he's rarely up before 7:30.
have I converted anyone to this later routine with my crafty words? :) I imagine not. hopefully it IS just a phase. :)

Welcome to our home for the past 12 days. Yes, I'm counting. The past three have been 6 am, but STILL...I like 6:30 better. That half hour is a huge difference for me. So 5:30? Yeah, not a fan. And I'm with Laci - let this please be a phase. Avery doesn't yell for me, she just plays, but still - I feel bad thinking she's just sitting in the dark.

The office looks awesome. Really, it does. You'll have to post color shots when you are there next :)

Office is legit. I can't wait to see more photos, but love this little snapshot. Ross w Soph on his lap - cutest, most grown-up shot ever. And I'm SO sorry about your early wake-up, as the 7o'clock hour is still hard for me. Heaven forbid that a child wake me before dawn. Can I train a baby to have a midnight bedtime and sleep until noon? I'll get the bad mother of the year award, won't I....

LOVE the office pictures, I love how you gave it your own personal touch. I bet Ross is grateful that he has a wife who knows how to decorate. I feel for you, about the 5:30 am thing...Lillie went through the same thing, it was terrible. Except she started taking off her diaper and then throwing it across the room, (and we'd go get her, find her stark naked, with pee running down her legs...)and she says, "mama, pee-pee, uh-oh!! It was so hard not to laugh, even though we were so tired, and a little confused, at 5:30 in the morning... But, I'm sure it will get better. Would she go back to sleep in your bed? Although, it's hard, because you don't want to make it a habbit, so who knows?! It's all just a game, isn't it?

How did the green meal turn out? I love it!

I think I am going to sleep in every morning that I can until August. Doesn't sound like sleep will be a luxury anymore. :)

and how cute are you to do the 'green' meal for the greenie? he'll write home about it no doubt.
