New years eve was a dinner out with Lacy and Joe, Ross' sister Brooke and her husband, Taylor, my dad and Mary Beth, and their good friends Paul and Susie. Such a fun random bunch. A sitter at home with all of our kids was amazing since we all got to come home to the same house, with sleeping kids, and watch the ball drop over martinellis and a pounce tournament (It's a card game the Lowry's taught us... not as physical as it sounds.) New Years Eve is usually a bit of a let-down for me... especially now that the later bed time does NOT allow for a later rise time with the little ones.... but this one was good. We got to wake up the next day with a house full of family, play at the park while the boys played in a new years football game... and then just let the cousins enjoy eachother in our new BACKYARD the rest of the day. Isn't it funny what really makes a good day once you have kids? If they're happy- you're happy. Life gets a bit simpler really.

Sounds like a perfect New Years to me!
Oh Lillie, I loved all your pictures!! And how exciting about your dad and Marybeth! I'm loving your new hair, by the way...and totally loved your card! I was excited to sneak a peek at the card you sent at my parent's house, since you know, I wouldn't get to open mine until we got home from our trip. Sounds like you had so much fun with Lacy and her family, isn't it so hard to say goodbye to your sister?! I swear we cry everytime. p.s. I just got the D60 and I just might be asking for your professional advice :)
