My hard drive crashed

UGHHHH--- what a bummer. I was without a computer for a few days there... maybe it was good for me? But I got dizzy from all the walking toward my seat and turning around when I realized it wasn't there.

So our data was technically all backed up, but now we're trying to figure out how to retrieve it all. It's supposed to be an easy process, buuuuuuut..... It's been "restoring files" for like 36 hours now and I believe the number of files remaining has stopped going down. And I'm not in the mood for another roadblock. It's been sort of a rocky week or so.

More on that to come. Dun dun dun.....

So hopefully I'll have my pictures back soon--- I've got way too much to catch up on.

- The rest of Maui
- 1st grade
-the "dun dun dun".. are you in suspense? You should be.
- Sophia turned 6! and does anyone want to comfort me and let me know 6 is supposed to be a little hard... because my ANGEL has been SO moody and sulky lately.

And more. Mostly whatever pictures I feel like looking at when I look at my blog... and whatever comes to my mind when I'm posting them.

Thank goodness for this long weekend we just had... why do I feel like I already need another? Is it just me? Life is getting far too busy for my tastes.

Is the "dun dun dun" more news about your eyelashes? The Internet is waiting.

I am so relieved to hear that your six year old is moody. :D Mine has been so up and down lately, which is so unlike her, but maybe it is a six year old thing? It is nice to hear another mom say the same thing. Sorry, this comment is sounding like I'm happy you are struggling with your darling girl. Anyhow, love your blog.

I love how Joe never misses a chance to rib. So sorry about your hard drive - boooo. Was your back-up an external drive or an internet back-up? Excited about the dun dun dun, unless it's bad news. But what if it's great news - are you pregnant?!

I'm sorry about what happened to your hard drive. Yeah, things like do happen, and sometimes all you can do is accept it and work from the ground up again. Geez, it was probably very tiring for your guys to go through 36 hours of making back up files. So did you guys manage to finish it?
