So the first nursery idea...that I posted a few weeks ago, is it too girly? Is the coral rug girly? If so, not sure if some of these are better or worse, but here are a couple of other variations. Mostly just the rug changes... but I think it's sort of a prominent thing. What's your favorite!?
Oh and other changes? This is a picture of the oeuf crib which is WAY out of my price range, but I'm thinking this crib from Walmart might work... (thank you anonymous commenter that pointed me in that direction!) It's not perfect, the bottom might be a little too cherry.... but I figure, worse case, I can paint it. I'd have used it in the idea board, but every photo of it online comes with that bedding. No thanks.
Other additions?
rocking moose (expensive one in idea board, here's the cheap one I'd buy from ikea and paint)

I think the first one brings out the best of the animal/safari theme that i see going on in a couple of the pics. i really the the animal print rug, it is very playful and fun.
really great options! i like the #3 choice the best, but they're all precious!
I'm a fan of the last 2. My daughter has the walmart crib and it totally looks like all the expensive ones everyone else has. trust me its a good choice.
Heres a couple pics of it actually being used

I like 2 or 3 but I know whatever one you pick will be perfect! You have great taste!
they are all fabulous but i think i like the last one with the dark brown rug. I like the contrast it brings!
Definitely the zebra print rug!
I am going to be blunt, they all look girly (just my opinion). It's nice for a little girl, though.
#2 Lill
Although we got Coco the polar bear rocker for her birthday and she LOVES it. Polar bear or moose, get a rocker:)
Where are the one's for a boy's room? Just kidding.
Do you own the rocking chair on the left? If so, neat-o. If not, it looks like something cobbled together from leftovers in the IKEA warehouse. I know it is in the land of nod catalogue, and that all this means is that I am not very stylish.
My favorite thing is the boy walking lion print, and since it is in all of them I will consider any choice a good one.
1. Remember, the baby won't care. You're the one that's going to need to like the room you'll be spending lots of waking hours in.
2. I love the colors you've used. They're enough color without being too bright and bold. Bright & bold don't work well in a baby room.
3. They don't look girly!
4. The chair doesn't look comfortable, but it's cute.
5. I love the lion print!
You know how much I love orange and blue together, but I have to say #2 is by far my favorite. Soooo peaceful, but still has splashes of beautiful color. I agree that the chair is soooo cute, but maybe you can have a cute pillow lining, of sorts, to add some extra comfort and color. Talk to Tiff...I bet she could pull it off!
Love and miss you!
I liked your original selections from Sep 3 best.
I like your original ideas from September 3rd best.
...but if I have to be limited to these four selections, I like #2 best.
Love the first, go with your gut. I am having a little boy in Feb and am all about either mustard yellow or coral as my accent color...maybe even both. Just cause we are having boys doesn't mean we have to throw style out the window! :) I love that you keep posting all these ideas, you are helping my wheels turn.
Oh, and I just read the "girly" comment. Go ahead and disregard that... so not true. It's like when my sister would dress her boys in "big boy" outfits at church and people would say, "don't you just want them to look like little kids?" and her response, "no, I want them to be cute". I get it Lillie. The nursery is going to be great just the way YOU want it. :)
I don't know if you are up for a project, but I built Satchel's crib to be identical to the Oeuf one. (Also out of our price range, yikes!) I called the company, and they sent me all the hardware, legs too, for like $20. Then I just built the sides out of MDF, and the bottom from some walnut. Painted white, and voila. Total knockoff. For about $800 less. Just an idea if you guys have woodworking skills.
