Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Biesinger... you are the proud new owners..

We CLOSED! Today technically. On the new house. And no we actually do NOT have a renter yet and for some reason are not TERRIFIED like we should be of two mortgages, because we've gotten a lot of response and, foolishly or not, I feel confident that we will fill it. Soon. Cross your fingers for us.

But the house is ours, I'm just awaiting the official phone call that says come and get your keys. I've picked my colors (with Kodi's help), and besides that little hurdle of packing up my house, I'm totally ready to go.
Here's some pictures I finally got to take the other day.
Entry/ Living room- taken from front door. The doorway on your left is the dining room (which also connects to the kitchen), the one to the right of the stairs goes to the family room/ kitchen area. The first opening at the top of the stairs is the master.

Family Room- taken from the kitchen-- (prewired for surround sound in case you forgot- and are a boy and care) with a ridiculously small mantel for the too big tile of the fireplace. I can't BELIEVE they won't fix that for us but we're on our own. Anyone know how much mantels are? Or if I'm spelling mantel right?
The Kitchen-- taken from the family room. The doorway on your left with Ross's tiny head popping through (what?.. didn't notice that 'till I just posted it) is the one to the dining room. That weird niche on the left before the dining doorway is a wine cabinet in the model. I'm really hoping we could get some sort of short computer armoire that might not look ridiculous. Kind of weird that they put that there huh? But a computer in the kitchen is sort of mandatory.

And THIS is the master bath that might not look like much in the photo, but it's one of the most EXCITING things to me. Seperate closets. All my own cabinet and drawer space. A bathtub! We haven't had one of those... ever, in our bathroom. So exciting.

Congrats, Lillie! It looks great. How fun to fill it up & paint it & do all that decorating. Mantels...they used to sell them at Costco. I don't know if its a winter item or not. You could look online. They also sell them at Lowe's & Home Depot, but I don't know much about price. Good Luck!

I am thrilled for you Lillie! The house looks gorgeous! I am definitely a little bit jealous and I'm sure that when you put all of your decorating touches into it, it will look BETTER than that model. :) So excited for you.

Hey lillie! How exciting... a big beautiful house empty just for you. I am so excited to see it once you have painted it and put ypur pretty furniture in it. So i have an idea for your little niche. Since it is by your dining room table what if you put some really cute wallpaper or a funky color paint in the niche and then put children's sized table and chairs in it so your girls have a place to eat. I don't know if that will work, or if it is wide enough. But that is an idea... There is a cute cheap wooden table at ikea that my cousin decopaged (how do you spell that?) with really cute scrapbook paper. Let me know if you want to see pictures...

I'm with that other girl. Maybe a curtain with a tension rod covering the hole so they have a secret hideout. That might come in handy to have a playing place in the kitchen so you can actually cook in the big beautiful kitchen.

My tiny little bathrooms are sad that they could both fit inside yours :(

Wow! It's gorgeous Lillie. Congrats! My idea for the niche is an out of the way trash can. Simple and boring yes, but when you live in a house where you're always walking around it, you think about how to get rid of it!

Love your cabinets!!! And your staircase looks great too. How exciting.

What is above the niche? Can you make the opening all the way to the ceiling? Then it would be a perfect place for your computer. Congrats on your new house!!

I have this terrible feeling that you aren't going to be able to make it out this week. Because just LOOK at the beautiful home you have there. It's gorgeous and you have to find renters and pack your old home and paint and I'm just really, really happy for you. It's gorgeous and if you happen to not make it out for just one day, you had BETTER post photos of every step by step decorating project in your new home.

It's beautiful (forget the tub, I'm in love with your staircase) and I can't wait to see you work your decorating magic!

I love love love that I got ideas here. Blogs really do come in handy. The niche is not quite as deep as it might seem. Only about 2 feet I think. Maybe 3. I cant' bust out the top because the staircase is there. Bummer. Functionally, I really want somewhere for my computer. But I'm kind of loving the idea of a little girl table, or play area. Hmm.

Woweee so exciting! Great cabinet colors and countertops. The whole house is nice and open, I love the floorplan so much! You'll find a renter, don't worry. We always had to wait just a bit longer than we thought to find a renter or sell, and then a bit longer after that, and then just a month longer after that, and then the blessings come along! So don't worry! We are looking for a better place to rent here, too bad we couldn't just move to the big California desert and rent your place!

Aaaaand that comment was from me, not my sister Hannah.

We are also dealing with two mortgages or will be soon. YIKES. But we like you aren't really freaking out about it. We have faith that everything will work out. Love the house by the way.

Wow, it's beautiful!! I'm so glad I get to see pictures of this amazing floor plan! Are you so excited?! You will make it even more amazing with your sense of style, too. I'm sure you'll rent your other place soon. Somehow it all just works out. I love the high vaulted ceilings! Yea for Mr. and Mrs. Beisinger! (I was cracking up at that title, by the way :)

Lillie,
My name is Melissa. I am Erin Marriott's husband's cousin. Sorry, that was mouthful. Anyway, she had mentioned you just got a Nikon D40 for Christmas, and I have been looking for someone who has one. From the looks of your blog it looks like it takes amazing picture and you're a great photographer as well. What do you think? Which lenses do you have? Which one (lense) do you take the majority of your pictures with? Do you use filters? Do you have any photo editing/scrapbooking software you use with it?? Sorry, for the list of questions. It looks like you're busy with your move and new house. It's beautiful and congrats! If you get a minute to answer the "million" questions it would be great. My blog address is http://clevengerfamily.blogspot.comThanks so much!

First of all- your new home is beautiful, adn Lizzie told me how you are painting all light blues and it just sounds beautiful. congradulations. I wanted to see the kitchen up close so I clicked on the picture and all of a sudden Ross's head popped up out of nowhere- I bust out laughing- you can't see his head in the picture just normal, until you click on it- atleast I didnt' notice- it was really funny. Well, anyway- that is so exciting, i really like the blue ideas. Did you download the halleluia song because you watch american idol??? or is that a popular song right now? if you aren't an Idol lover than one of the contestants just sang that song- so I had to ask.

Hi Lillie,
What a great page! My friend just e-mailed me asking about Ross' contact information. We were in the same MTC district. Would you please e-mail me at allynizu@hotmail.com and I'll pass along the info to his MTC companion? You have a beautiful family! Congratulations on the home! Take Care!

Love Always,
Allyn
