We close on the house two weeks from yesterday, we've ALL been sick, been trying to find a renter, finish the loan process, haven't even STARTED packing (AHHH!), attempted a little more of what you see to your left, (yeah I don't really think that 'a little here, a little there' over several months is the way to potty train, life just seems too crazy to fully commit.) It sort of feels like we've mostly just been surviving each day. Ross is starting to feel better finally, I think I'm just a couple of days behind him, Sophia has woken up the last two nights with a temp, but is happy as a lark all day, so I think we're coming up on some energy that will be quickly put to use in the moving process.
Besides dealing with everyone's yucky symptoms, all I can think about is the new house. I literally wake up and fall asleep visualizing what it's going to look like some day (when we can afford to decorate it) and in the mean time, what a little paint on the walls will do. My job today is to find out where to get boxes, call the painter, and search through magazines to finish picking my colors. Did I mention my friend Kodi is an interior decorator and is going to help me??! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world....
That's the latest.

Oh man, Lil! Moving is seriously one of the worst things to do & I can't imagine doing it with two kiddos. Wish I was there to help!
However, the simple act of thinking of your new beautiful home is HUGE motivation! How exciting for you guys.
And the photo is priceless.
we found a web site that helps you locate people in your area how have boxes to sell or boxes to give away. If I remember the name I will let you know otherwise google it. Wish we were closer you could have all ours. I wish you luck packing, I really have not enjoyed unpacking.
i love that you think you need an interior designer. have you SEEN YOUR HOUSE!!!?!! HELLO! ;) still, it will be fun to collaborate, I'm sure.
sickness and moving....yucky times! I hope the worst is over, and you can move ahead with much happiness.
remember, potty training is like a light switch...when it clicks, it clicks..until then, no thinking it's your fault it isn't QUITE perfect, you got it? I've also found that even when it works, it's still some form of "mommy training" because most of the time it's you that has to remind them to go. these are the things other people won't tell you. :)
you're the best! have a great rest of the week, feeling better and moving forward!
We bought ours from uhaul. I feeling your pain when it comes to sickness. My kids both have ear infections and Madisen has a nasty cough. I'm so excited for you guys. A new house is so fun. I really miss my house.

I seriously love coming to your blog. There is always a new picture, and this one is priceless. Love it. I want to get Ave into painting now.
Is she sitting on the potty while she paints. That's ingenious. I need to try that with my twins.
