Tutu Party

So last Friday, we gathered lots of little girls together to get some photos of these adorable tutus and hair clips that my friend Lindsay makes. I'm posting far too many. But it's late and I was in the mood and it's easier to post a bunch than use any discretion...

(how about the face on darling Abby at the top???)

Hey Lillie
Long time no talk! I've been reading up and know you've been SO busy. Congrats on the new house. Just wanted to say the little girl on top has the most adorable lips. Love to tutu's. If only Drew would wear them. She has one and freaks out if I pull it out. Hmmm, I think she needs some girl friends.

I'm loving all the litty poofy bums :) I like ths one that I think if Sophia turned away from you and some other girl blurry in the background. I love being able to tell when you learn new camera things too!! My next thinger will hopefully be today. Had to stop to get a church lesson ready :(

Lillie, your camera makes me so jealous. Every time I look at your blog I want to replace my very nice Cannon for your even better Nikon. I've never see digital look so good. You are becoming quite the photographer!

Ok. Third photo: Sophia is YOUR daughter. She looks exactly like you Lillie, I've never seen a more clear cut mother/daughter photo. So unbelievably cute.

And the tutus are darling. A tutu party? Wish we lived closer...

This is precisely why every mother should take at least a minor interest in photography. Because moments like this are captured in your talented way and made so ethereal and beautiful. And SUPER cute tutus!!

Lillie, you are so beautiful in every way! The tutus are captured wonderfully, and I am so happy with the result! Thanks again and again - really, it is time to go professional - I should have paid AT LEAST $100 for that shoot:)

Oh my gosh Lil, you're going international. The tutus are fantastic - I'd love to meet the little girl who wouldn't want to dance around in one of them. There's just something about flowy tulle...
I love your camera, and have decided that for a non-journaler, that it would be a good baby step to have a really nice camera. When I get one, can I come down and you'll give me lessons? This may be in about 2012. Can't wait to see you and the tutu girls IN PERSON.

So this might be a little weird - I'm Rebecca Smylie's sister and occasionally stalk your blog because I like your music list. And you take great pictures of your cute daughters. I noticed your last post you said your baby sleeps from 7 - 7 with a 3-4 hr. nap after an hour of waking up. How do you do it??? Do you think she's just a good sleeper, or have you trained her? Or both? I've got a 3 1/2 mo. old and he only sleeps half that good. I'd love any tips.

I really do have to gush a little...Wow! Those pictures are amazing! You really have a gift! What darling little girls too...I'm sure that always helps and you can never go wrong with a tutu, right? Those are pictures that I could see all over a little girl's room! Maybe I'll have to put Avery in a tutu and invite you over! :)

BEAUTIFUL!!! I want to do this in the future. Who's the adorable brunette on the green chair? Give me 16 months and I think I'll have the exact child.
