Completely and Puhfectly and Incandescently Happy...

"You have bewitched me body and soul and I lov--- I love--- I love you. I never wish to be parted from you, from this day on." (Please read with a British accent...)
Goooooood movie. Tonight, in true lone-female fashion, I left Sophia's clothes on the bathroom floor after bath, didn't load my day's dishes since I never unloaded last-night's (there's no adults in this place but me, if a house is messy and no one is in the woods to see it but people under 3, is it really messy???), and watched Pride and Prejudice under a blanket on the couch, while working on my 2007 digital album on my lap-top, and eating handfuls of chocolate chips (because I couldn't find any better comfort food around.) And now it's 12:30 and all I want to do is rewind for the 4th time and watch it from that magic scene on...
And no the title does not describe my mood this particular weekend.... but it's just so fun to say...

That is my absolute favorite movie ever. I am reading the book right now (between feedings).

You know I love the movie. That version I thought was especially good at showing the earthy nature of their lives, their labor with the animals, and the realistic nature of the mother and father's relationship despite the mother's crackpot ways.

I'm impressed that all you could find were chocolate chips. Last night I went to the store hungry and I was so embarrassed when I was checking out and realized that 1/2 of all my stuff was delicious sugary sweets! Did I put anything back- No way!

It makes me Incandescently Happy just to know that I am not the only person in the world who would rewind and rewatch that movie a dozen times given the opportunity. I am so glad that you vegged. It is good for ones soul to veg once in a while.

THIS SOUNDS FUN! I have, on so many occasions, eaten chocolate chips out of a craving for sweets with nothing else in the house!

LOVE the movie....and could watch it over and over and over. I am going to have a similar evening this Friday while Wes goes skiing with the young men. Just might do the same thing...pj's on the floor, dirty dishes in the sink & me on the couch with Mr. Darcy.

Why is it so awful when are men are gone? And why does indulging in highly feminine behavior (sappy movies, refusal to clean, chocolate...) seem to be the only thing that will help us cope? And I LOVE that movie.

The image of you eating handfuls of chocolate chips is awesome.

the second paragraph almost brings tears to my eyes. that is the sweetest thing ever. i can't wait to have a toddler who drives me crazy in every way possible, but still have that innate love for her because it is impossible not to. i love mila's hair. sophia seems so sweet in all her pictures, i can't imagine her being a terror. i hope i get to see those two over our weekend reunion fiesta. mancations are the best b/c when they return they are so NICE. they have to be to make up for all the time they were away. still never seen pride and prejudice. i know, i should be ashamed, but i'm not really.

Okay I know this is an old entry but that is how long it has been since I have gotten on to look at your blog. Sorry! But it is so nice to hear that someone else has the ability to watch that movie over and over again. I love this version of the story too. Have you ever seen the six hour version? Now that is a movie for the true enthusiast. :) Let me know if you want to borrow it...are you up it???
