Our "sweet breakfast" of choice:
Whole Wheat Waffles... or partial whole wheat when we want them to be yummier. I won't lie.
2 large eggs
2 cups whole wheat flour (or one white, one wheat... I always use white wheat)
1 3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup canola oil
1 tbs sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Berries, syrup, powdered sugar... whatever you fancy... SMOTHER.
My house smells like waffles, turkey bacon, sweaty boy (he played basketball this morning), maple syrup, blueberry compote, and rain. RAIN! I love Saturdays. Even when I still have an unwritten talk looming...

Awww... food pictures. You know I love it :) Those look fabulous. I might try to take food pictures like you...that's something I CAN do... The decorating? Let's just say I like looking at your amazingly decoated pretty house! Inspiration! Thanks for sharing! BTW, I love whole wheat, but depending on what it is, it can totally change the flavor/ texture of what you're making. I made Stromboli tonight with whole wheat and it just wasn't as good as with white. Darn. Oh, one more thing... hope you don't mind I posted about the Henry's Peanut Butter maltballs. Man, those were so good. Next time maybe I should be inspired by you to work out...not to eat yumm-o-licious treats :)
OK, typos like crazy in above comment. 'decorated' not 'decoated' What does decoated mean anyway :) And one more thing... taking pics of food is sooo much easier than pics of people! (food holds still, and can be pretty colorful) I guess I'll stick with food pictures for a while :)
This is such a beautiful blog! Added you on my list immediately. Great photography and you all look so happy together. I wish I could show more pics of my kids too but I just don't wanna publish their photos on the internet. But still, I like to look at your photos. I really like the new style of your living room.
ok, which magazine did you steal this from?
