I never would have thought I was the 'high-school, vampire, love-story' type. But I heard it recommended from too many different sources, and needed a book to read in Oceanside... and loved it! Now I'm converted, and SO excited that there are two more in the series... And that I have an entire plane trip to and from DC all by MYSELF to read the next one.
DC, New York, Sarah, and Rebecca.... count down: 2 days!!!!
And I should warn, the last picture of Ross, Sophia, and I at sunset---it's a fraud. Something about the lighting made my belly look strangely low and my chest strangely small (which I loved) but it's unfortunately misleading. I am indeed pregnant from my neck to my knees. As proof, these are some comments I heard this past week after being out of town for a couple of weeks: "What have you been eating?!", "Wow you were barely showing before, you got huge!", "I can't believe you have nearly three months to go." Hmpf.

This is a following I can't quite understand. That said, my very intellectual and well-read roommate has completed the series, and loves it. So be ready to tell me all about what you read on the plane - if there's anyone who could sell me on such a thing.. .it's you. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'LL BE HERE IN MERE HOURS REALLY... 48 HOURS AND COUNTING. The White House appointment has been made, the a/c that was broken all weekend is being fixed today (I know!) and I'm planning a fun dinner rendesvous for Thursday... GET HERE!!!! xo
Yes- I read these books too! All the pent up "emotion" (if you know what I mean) is sometimes a little annoying but I enjoy them as well.
Oh- and I am so sorry for all the stupid comments people make. It's like they want to discourage women from getting pregnant. Take comfort in the fact that I am one of those women who gains twice the amount that you do so- you look pretty good to me! And the picture can only be misleading to a point. No, you look amazing. And that is the truth.

I'm so glad you loved the book! I am a huge fan and can't understand people who don't like the books. Maybe they are not as desperate for romance as I am (o;
Also, a family just moved into our ward from your area ... the Homec's (i think that's how you spell it)
This is the real Lowdogg, not some pretty imposter using my login.
As a guy, I liked the books.
lighting Lillie!!? You crack me up! Nope, you really are one of those that the others of us (who DO gain lots!) love to look at and say, "I'd have 12 if I looked like her pregnant!!" And, we really wouldn't, but it's fun to say. YOu look dang amazing! Have fun on your lil' trip!
I just posted today about this book, too! Totally loved it and can't wait for the next two to arrive! Have a GREAT time in DC!
I'm not sure if it's the lighting but I was definitley going to comment on how low your stomach was and how jealous I am that I never looked like that pregnant! You look like you put a ball in your shirt. You look GREAT!!!
Have a wonderful time in DC. Looking forward to more pics.
what is it with these books? you are like the tenth person to tell me about them. i think i might try them out, they sound so wierd though.
So glad it was nothing more than trick photography. No one believes you Lillie, but the important thing is that I can see for myself in just a couple of days! And when you get here we will talk about Twilight (so SAS, wait till the NY portion to have your discussion with her)...predictably, I have something to say about that too.
I've been hearing the raves come in for a month or so now. This just might push me over the top. I may break down and read it.
Hi Lillie,
I don't know if you remember me, but I used to live in La Quinta. I know your good friends the Barney's. They were in my ward before they moved. Your blog is so cute! I blog too. Visit the blog sometime. http://lamoreauxfamily.blogspot.com
:)
