One good thing about Summer TV...

Possibly the only good thing... 'So You Think You Can Dance' is the highlight of my week. Totally unexposed to this world of the quintessential feminine talent growing up, I never thought I was missing out on anything by having zero skills in dance. Now I dream of hip hop and contemporary dances in my sleep, wonder what kind of woman I'd feel like wearing a gown and dancing ballroom, and sometimes, Ross and I are guilty of pausing and rewinding so we can attempt to mimic the choreography and dance along with the scantily clad teenagers.

I love this show.

I totally love this show, too! Being a dancer my whole life, I still long to dance that way like on TV AND wear the beautiful gowns! They are amazing! I keep vowing that someday I'm going to take a class with Joseph. But for now, I guess my hip hop and clogging will just have to do. ;)

You know we have to give Ross crap now about the dancing, right? It's like a rule.

We like the show too.

Lillie, I am with you...not quite down the pausing, rewinding & mimmicing stage yet, but I love this show too! Especially Jessie & Pasha! Great choice of pics!

okay, so Ross just went WAY up in my book. NEVER would that happen in my livingroom. :) LOVE that it does in yours.

I must admit that my summer tv consists pretty solely of Mariners baseball and the occasional sucked in moment of the food network. Are you not tempted by that dang "next food network star" show? so embarrassing.

I feel a need to defend my manliness now. The only dances I have mimicked are the manly ones. The ones that involve flexing and grunting. The whole dancing about in the living room thing was never supposed to get out. I guess the only thing I can do now is embrace it. What the heck, I love the show, and I wish I could be them.

Laughed really hard at Roos' comment. Lillie, my mom made all of her daughters take dance classes since we were tall and she wanted us to be able to carry ourselves. Too bad that the other girls kept on moving up a level and I just stayed there with the level 4s. Year after year after year.

Ok, I'm sorry, but I am definately going to have to tell Cort about Ross practicing dance steps and he will definately be mocked next time we see him. Just to give you a heads up.
Summer TV programing is definately classic. Somehow last night Cort and I found ourselves wasting 2 hours of our lives watching "Age of Love" and then if that wasn't bad enough following it up with "Science of Love". I went to bed tired and wanting to poke my eyes out. Although I guess I can take comfort in the fact that we never paused it and mimicked them going on dates.....

Okay, so I have a moment of peace and just scrolled through your blog...Sophia is soooo grown up and adorable....LOVE the hair! I am still tempted to put mascara on Kai to help live out my needed fix for a female...anywho, I lOVE this show as well. It is truly the highlight of my week. I have even gotten Taylor hooked. I LOVE it! It totally inspires me. Love you!
P.S. I made pancakes for lunch all the time while I was prego...the fattening kind (butter thins):)

You know how cheap Shad and I are right? Well, I think it would be well worth the money to buy a small camera and hide it in your family room. = )

SYTYCD is one of the top recommended shows to me on a weekly basis, it seems. We don't watch it, but maybe we should! I can totally see myself pulling Devin off the couch and trying a few steps though I am a terrible dancer...maybe this show could give me dreams of being a dancer too. I always wanted to be when I would watch Footloose.

Hmmm...is there something you need to tell me? Between Ross twirling around the living room and you showing other girls your boobs, I'm not quite sure what to think. How did Sophia happen anyway?
