So when we got back from San Diego... Sophia had an Easter package waiting in the mail. I LOVE packages. And I love how when you're a mom you benefit from packages to yourself AND those addressed to your little one. When she was younger, I think I got a little more joy out of opening a new dress or book than she did, but this time, I think she was just as excited as I was. She ran around the backyard sporting the new glasses, switching out the colors. And then explored her artistic side for hours (ok minutes- she's 19 months, but a lot of minutes) on the patio. Thank you Nana and Grandpa B!

I love girls, they are so fun! Boys would never appreciate so many sunglasses! Are you in Palm springs?
Avery has the same shirt, but with a flower on the center!
She truly is a beauty Lillie. I can't get enough of the pictures (especially the pop out ones). She is just so, so cute with her light hair and blue, blue eyes.
I'm sorry. That comment above was from me. I was in my friends checking some stuff out for our combined blog.
so so cute - the shades are super hip! I love that she sported them around the back yard as she worked her artistic magic. and that video of her getting excited about the package.. so cute. i love watching her little body move. kudos again to being the blogger w/ videos. teach me one day (though i'll have to get something to film, like a dog or a baby).
Ok, I didn't watch the video until now and I'm cracking up. Her little "wow" right after yours and then she just kinda stood there with the sunglasses on. Made me laugh out loud. Cute, cute.
Love the glasses! She's adorable! My neice loves her little glasses, too. Girls are so fun!
So cute! I love your little Sophia and I can't wait to see the both of you again! It feels like so long!
okay, I gotta say just one thing. my little boy would love love love the sunglasses too (even the pink ones)..just gotta give that gender some luv too. :) but I do love sophia's white pants, and am STUMPED as to how you keep them looking so fabulous. more secrets revealed soon I hope? :)
I love the shades on her! I hope she'll keep them on and wear them everywhere. They are so cute.
Lillie, I just caught up on the last few posts, (it's only been like a few weeks but it feels like I missed so much!!) I LOVE to catch up on what's new in your life, and I LOVED the post about Melisa. She is so beautiful, I totally remember the short platinum hair on her, she looked so gorgous and hip. I always remember looking up to her and Lacy so much, because I never had older sisters. I love how you do the birthday 'tributes'. LOVED the Easter pictures, Sophia is such a doll. How fun is that to have a sleepover with nana & papa?!!! Your mom & Kirk are so amazing, what a fun trip! LOVED the Balboa Park pictures, that is one place Dan & I love doing when we're down there, too, but I never thought about taking Lillie! We may have a new attraction to do w/ her next time. Okay, and the sunglasses, holy cow, supermodel!! I love that she went to town w/ the chalk! She's showing some artistic talent already....I was cracking up so hard w/ the video, and you put the sunglasses on, and she was like, "wow!!" copying you! (sorry about the VERY long comment, I just had to comment on the last few weeks!! So fun, I love your blog! love ya!)
