Which combination do you like?
1. 2. 3. 4.
5.
6.7. oops... forgot this one in my original post. I know you've had enough of the fabric... but simple solid.. with dark wood... ? I thought making them all visual like this would help me... I think I'm more lost than ever! Phew. That's all for now. Any sure winners??

Ok, the talent in these layouts alone floors me. How do you do these tricky, angled, written-on posts? If you never did a thing to your house, I'd love just keep looking at your design plans!
I forgot to choose whatever I was supposed to... will have to look again (too distracted by pretty layout).
I can't keep my thoughts straight, but the only thing I remember thinking was I liked the dark wood. So maybe go with the dark wood. It seems a little more sophisticated, like your living room. Which, by the way, I LOVE. Those frames on the wall, where did you get them? They look empty, so I'm hoping they are a new purchase. And the mirror on the wall, I want to copy that, too. Just need a new house and better layout first! :)
Can't wait to see what you do. Will look fabulous.
i think i'm more confused than before....what about you?
Okay, sorry. Me again (Me, as in Julie.) Just looking through the photos one more time. I can't decide between a couple of the fabrics. But I did have another thought, which is RARE these days. I think you could do the yellow and white fabric with a chair that had dark wood, or even black. I know you planned that fabric with white wood in mind, but I've seen a similar color combo and it's beautiful.
I had a hunch the frames were from Ikea. But the dark wooden one in the middle really threw me off. It's so clever and not Ikea-ish at all. And I've had an eye on the big mirror there since it came out. I just need a big home to fit it!
When you finish all your projects could you come out here and help me prepare a nursery? never mind that the nursery will consist of a crib IN a closet. Because I know you still would rock it. And while you are here, would you mind photographing me and my family in all my gigantic glory?
Thanks. :)
My first choice is #6a. I love that it pulls in the wall color, adds a new green color and works with the existing black and white patterns and colors (from the mirror and frames)you've got going. I think you could go white or dark with it, although I'd vote dark.
My second choice is #1. Who wouldn't love a yellow chair? Can't wait to see that picture wall in real life. It looks amazing. :)
I would go with, the white chair with the "greenish yellowish fabric." It would seem to blend will well with your living room while still being a significant piece. Tell us what you end up choosing! You have some great ideas but those are my thoughts :)
Wow, you're really good with the graphics.
Hands down, I love #5. I think the colors and patterns on the fabric and I think they'll be lovely in your already lovely living room.
Where do you find these great inspiration pictures? I need some inspiration for my living room, but I can never find things I like.
OK, probably not going to be helpful because I like a few... I love #1, like #2, and love love #6c, especially because I know you were wanting some pink in there. I also really like #6a as a good compromise. I also think you could do a few of those with a yellow chair and it would look amazing.
Love ya!
I'm hoping you figured out that it was me in the last comment, not my very boyish husband who would never have an opinion on your chair except, of course, to know how much you paid for it.
I really like 6a. It seems like it would bring all the colors together in that combination, while still offering a chic vibe to the room. I can see how painting the chair white would brighten the space up even more and flow with the white curtains, but for some reason I think dark would give off a great mood too.
I just read the comment above and see that you want pink so I would add some pink peonies in a cute white vase somewhere. They'd really pop.
PS: I do really love the fabric in number 1 though, especially with the yellow chairs. I think it could work well too. Your living room has a similar feel to it as that inspiration photo.
I like the first one. It's more grown up and less little girl's bedroom than the others.
ok, i'm back to vote: #1 or #3 for me.
1, 2 (with dark wood) then 7 is my order of preference. 1 could look dated pretty quick because I think the bright colors could be dated pretty quick, but you can always recover.
5 or 6:)
Hey woman! Number 1 and 2 are my favorites, but if it were me, I would so go for the bright yellow chair. Bold and beautiful and a perfect pop to brighten up the room. :0)
6c
Oh my, you can't go wrong! I LOVE the yellow chair. Might steal that idea one day. I also love #3.
I think you should start doing interior design. I'll hire you first!
Depends on how much of a contrast you want in your room. Personally I am in LOVE with the first option. I have been obsessing over the yellow/grey combo lately. I think that would be so cute and fun.
How fun! Thanks for involving us all in this! I loved looking at all your choices. My favorite is
6A and after reading through the comments I was sooooo excited to see that Kodi also picked 6a... maybe I'm not as design impaired as I thought... then again I could never have even matched all those fabulous colors like you did. You are amazing and I'm sure whatever you pick it will be great!!!! but I really really love 6a the bestest :)
Oops... that was Jennifer not Kyle :)
Morning Lillie! I like choice #2 or choice #3 (but with a white chair)... You already have many dark woods in your room and the white would go well with the other splashes of white (frames, curtains & lampshade). The greenish fabric on #2 is amazing and would tie in well. The fabric in #3 speaks to my heart, but it might be a little bold for the other pieces? But seriously.. ANY of these chairs will be amazing!!!
Absolutely love your layouts ~ at first glance I thought I was seeing stuff from a magazine... You are TALENTED!!!! Domino might hire you soon!
Number 1 or 2. The gray and yellow combo will look FAB in your living room!
hey, I'm a late entry! let's just say that I'm stoked to talk to you in person about this! but I like #1 or #2. I like the yellow fabric in #2..seems like the perfect way to add that POP of color that you want, but if you get tired of it, you can just recover it again another time.
cool!
So my favorite is 6A without a doubt. It's got it all: your blue and cream and a pop of color. And I think the wood in black would really tie it all together.
Now I do like #1 as a close second but with black wood. The yellow might end up being too trendy and after all of the work you put into it you want it to "work" for you for a long time...
I've always wanted to do a project like this so you'll have to tell me how it ends up. Good luck!
