Eyes

So I pick her up from nursery on Sunday and she's wearing this on her head. Apparently they learned about their eyes. It was just too cute the way she left it on, she seemed like such a big girl, like she actually participated in the lesson and didn't just find some toy in the corner to play with. Like she was actually trying to tell me what she learned about 'today at church'. She kept pointing to her eyes, "Eyes", and I'm looking at these big freaky alien eyes on her forehead, kind of distracted, but so proud. This is later at home of course when she was having a topless snack. That's what she does with her hand when she's trying to push something away like say... a camera, or green beans. Or my face if it's in the way of her 'show'...

My baby's got sauce.

Here's just a cute one of her and Tanner helping Aunt Lizzie bake some cookies.

So today is exciting for two reasons. I have a doctor's appointment (any day you hear a good, strong heart beat is definitely a good one.) And we leave for San Diego for the 4th (any day you leave 118 degree weather for 78 degree weather is.... a good one. Magnify that by pregnant temperature, it's a VERY good one.) We'll be back on Thursday, and then we've got the gender ultrasound on Friday. AHHH! I'm counting down. I can't wait to tell Sophia if it's a brother or a sister.

My prediction, for the record: another girl.

Love the eyes and the little attitude with her hand in the air!

Have a great time in San Diego. I am tempted to drive to the mountains tomorrow just to escape the "heat wave warning" that is in effect until Thursday night. In pregnancy degrees, it feels like 130 out there!

Can't wait to hear if it's a boy or a girl. You better either call me or post immediately! :) As much as I would love for you to have a boy, I'm guessing a girl, too.

I can't wait to find out the results of the ultrasound! If they say it is a boy, will you believe them? My sister didn't believe her doctor until she had an amnio, she was so sure it was a girl. Either way, what an exciting day!
That first pic of Sophia is hillarious. That is a seriously spicy little girl!

(this is Sarah, why does your log-in hate me?)
Your baby DOES have sauce.. .and that word has always reminded me of you since the early days of G Love. That 'talk to the hand' is a-dorable. Let's hope she's stil using that when some fresh guy is putting the moves on. I have a feeling this one will be able to take care of herself just fine.

I vote girl too! I can't decide which I'd rather - Sophia have a sister (like you and Lac) or a baby brother to look after (like me and my Ben), but I'm REALLY looking forward to hearing!! Tell us ASAP! (love you and thank you thank you for the bday call!)

I say Boy. There is a serious propensity towards boys on both the Frisch and Biesinger sides.

How exciting Lillie. Finding out the sex is the best day of being pregnant.

I love her hand in the picture with the look-away "I'm not looking at you" look.

Tell, tell Lillie. What are you having? What time is your appt?

okay so it's friday at 4:30 now, can we know? please please? hopefully all is well and you just had an afternoon appointment.

I am in love with the nursery leader who gave such glamorous eyes out. hooray for good teachers for our little buddies.

and I just want you to save this picture and show it to her in like 15 years...this will PROVE that she's always had an attitude. :) great capture.

also loved the white summer tank that she had on in the mixer picture...now that I'm looking into stuff like that. :)

I am dying to find out what you are having Lillie! I am going to go out on a limb here and guess boy! I know you already know, but since you haven't posted yet, I am throwing my prediction in there! Sophia's little attitude is the sweetest thing in the world! I love that you captured it in a pic! Hope all is well and that we all get to hear soon!-Karalee

So what's the verdict? Girl or boy? If it's a boy, with a saucy older sister like that, I wonder at what point he will become the protector. Looks like you have one child that may never need it.
