Pictures of the girls :), Sophia enjoying pumpkin cookie batter (just had a frozen one Michelle - YUM!), and the starts of Christmas decorating in our home. Tonight we listened to Christmas music while digging through the decor. I fed Mila while Ross and Sophia marched around playing the drums with wooden spoons on our Christmas tins to Little Drummer Boy. It was a good day as a family of four.
We got Sophia back Saturday morning... and watching her with Mila has been all I'd hoped for. She likes to nuzzle noses with her, kiss her forehead, and she loves it when Mila kisses her cheek (well, you know, she's, rooting... but, close enough.) So far so good. I cannot believe how big Sophia seems (I think she may have put on a couple pounds off my mom's good cooking too :)) and changing her diaper is CRAZY after a few days of looking at Mila's tiny, tiny, tiny bum. Maybe natures way of encouraging potty training?

Lillie, I actually grew up with Ross in Walnut Creek. I just wanted to tell you how beautiful your girls are. I have been lurking for a little while and I am just in awe of your little family. We have two little girls and a little boy. I love having my two girls first. It is so much fun. I wish you the best with your new little one Mila.
Lillie--truly a beautiful new little girl. And your thoughts on Sophia getting bigger made me laugh. My sister-in-law said the exact same about her two-year old the other day now that she a new born. So happy for you and Ross and those lucky, lucky times.
Love your new photos (as always). Mila is so pretty and I'm glad that things are going well with Sophia being home again. It is truly amazing how fast they do get bigger and the bum thing is SO TRUE. Hope that you're recovering ok.
Love the pictures. Mila is so cute!! As soon as our baby came, I realized it was time for Scott to be potty trained. I just keep procrastinating it. Enjoy your two little ones.
everyone looks wonderful, lillie! what fun times at your house!! the pics are great, too. did you get your early christmas present (the camera)???
Lillie and Ross,
this is ross's cousin - alisha. i am so excited for you both (and sophia). i've been reading your blog for a while now and enjoying keeping up with you. Your new baby is perfect and what fun it will be to watch the sisters grow up together (i have two girls, too). the bum thing is definately true as i did the same thing when my second was born; i realized that my first was not a baby anymore, in any sense of the word. now she is almost four and i get shivers thinking about her first day of school. anyway, congrats and i am glad things are going smoothly.
all our love,
alisha and fam
Such great photos Lillie! Your girls (+Ross) are just adorable and I love that you're decorating for Christmas with pumpkin cookies and feeding a tiny newborn. Congrats, congrats.
My favorite photo is the one of Sophia by the swing - you got her to look and the camera + smile!
Mila is a beautiful newborn! You truly have two absolutely adorable little girls. The pictures are wonderful and I'm so glad Sophia loves her little sis' already. They will be best buds!
You seriously have the cutest most perfect little family!! "The Girls" are absolutely gorgeous...I love Mila's dark hair and adorable face. I love catching up on your family!!
Your girls are so cute. I remember after having Tatum, I saw Logan(shari's baby)he seemed huge. It's crazy what a new born with to do you.
i love your little family of four. i could just imagine how cute that scene must have been of ross and sophia marching around and you just feeding the babe. it gives me the chills just thinking about it. it sounds like you guys are adjusting to having one more around. congrats!!!
p.s. we need to all get together before your babies are all grown up. christmas break perhaps???
Exactly how are you finding time to snap these beautiful pictures? I love them all! You're making all of this look EASY! Congrats!
Lillie, Mila is so precious, and it's so amazing to see Sophia as such a 'big girl'. I bet you missed her terribly, but it was probably nice to have a few days with just Ross and the baby. So nice of your mom! I'm so happy for you and your beautiful family! I got your email, it was so good to hear from you! Yes, I changed everything when we moved!! Email, cell phone #...so that's why! And yes, you DO make a family of four look so easy! You're such a natural.
how is it that mila never went through the cute in a "look like an old man" stage? she's just beautiful, from day one! oh, and I'm glad you liked the pumpkin cookies..beware, with nursing, you'll have the ability to scarf down ALL 6 DOZEN if you're not careful. (not like I embarrassingly know from experience or anything) :)
Seriously so gorgeous. You do make cute babies, Lillie. Buy the camera, keep taking photos, and post them often. That's my, "having a newborn baby" advice.
She looks more like you now Lillie. Do you think? I thought she looked like Ross and Sophia at first, but she's changing (as they always do). Regardless, both your girls are beyond cute!
I too love the swing picture. I too adore your little girlS, I too think you make it look easy and doable and beautiful - the whole thing. I too got chills thinking of Ross, Sophia, you and Mila decorating for Christmas with drums as a soundtrack. Lucky you, lucky them. Love you all!
I finally caught up on your posts since Mila was born. You are amazing. All the pictures and documenting of her new little life! And I am so glad to hear that Sophia loves her little sister. She is such a sweet cousin to my kids I'm really not suprised! Congratulations! We miss you already!
Congrats you guys! Mila is beautiful! Sophia is too- what a cute family! We just adopted a new baby girl- maybe Mylie and Mila can play when they're bigger!
