This is my living room.
I have a pillow problem. I change pillows like every month. I have a few different pillow graveyards. I tire of them quickly and yet I have a hard time getting rid of them-- thinking I might cycle back through them like I do old t-shirts.
These pillows still have the tags on because I'm not sure they work. I sort of think they're BEAUTIFUL and love their watercolor effect. But then I wonder if I've got too many colors going on. Or too many florals? Or if they're too grandma?
Or these stripes? opinions?
The Dining Room.
Looks the same as the last time I took a photo... but it was in the folder so I posted it.A wall near my front door.
I don't know about this pillow either. The tag is also still on it... like several other pillows in my house. I usually have one in a corner of the settee.... but happened to take the photo when I was trying out this one...??? Also, I want to paint the "b". white? pink? not sure. And the walls... don't get me started on the walls. I really want a new neutral-- much lighter, much cooler-- but that takes much time and much energy and much moolah.
The Family Room
These are my new pillows for my sectional! I had my friend, Brooke's wonderful mom make them for me out of a tablecloth from Anthropologie that I found. I wondered if they were too bright and wild at first. But I I'm loving them now. I'm still working on a third pillow. You can guess how that might go.
Still working on filling these book shelves. I can't decide how full they have to be to look pretty and clean but not just sparse and unfinished. Pretty sure they're still the latter.
Two of my favorite items in the house.
Their room to come.

i LOVE the Biesinger house photos posts. LOVE them. They inspire me.
And I think we have the same wall color in the majority of our homes and I'm longing for a new neutral, too. But it's just not happenin' here either.
Can't wait to see more . . .
and here I thought you were going to talk about how you love to SLEEP!
Your house is dreamy. absolutely. but you're still my favorite part of the whole thing...
oh, and I vote YES on all the colorful pillows. especially the living room ones. but I have no style, so please don't choose based on me.
i love your built it!!!! it makes your house look so custom. if we were planning on staying in our house for a while i'd totally hire nate.
i just got that same pink pillow (well mine was green... & i actually returned it yesterday.) i like the pink... a lot. (like if you decide to return it bring it to my house instead. ha.) all the pillows look great. keep them.
I really love your house Lillie! I need to copy some of it. I can see your family room is small like mine and I hate the smallness so much. My 2 dark couches just make it feel smaller and we are looking for a sectional because our couches take up way too much room.... the problem is if we move any time soon (Dave wants to go to WC because that's where he works) we might have a bigger/different shape room so it's hard to know what to get to fit here that would work in the future. I'm totally rambling. Anyway, I like how you've made your smallish family room look bigger. That's my goal! Anyway, beautiful home! You have an eye for decorating I think.
hey Lillie, it's Kendyll... I've been checking out your blog for a while now, but I never comment, totally a stalker. This post has pushed me over the edge though. I love your home, really if I could redo mine it would be close to this. Your style is fabulous and I always look forward to the next bit posted.
I love all the fun colors in your house. I keep wanting to do something more bright and fun in my house, but I know we won't be here that much longer so I keep holding off 'till we move.
Pillows...argh, they drive me nuts. I love them, but I always want to switch them too. I think it's a season thing. In fact I know it is for me. I just feel in the mood for different colors at different times of the year. But I have only switched mine once. I think they are due.
I'll be honest--this post totally depressed me. It's all so beautiful and so well done and so possible to do it. So even if I somehow had a tiny portion of your taste, your resolve, or your space...I still couldn't get any of the things you have to make your house look so good. But this isn't about me. My point: I love the floral pillows. Keep them.
I love all of the pillows! All of them! Also, where did you get that beautiful white chair with the grey/yellow fabric? I need that chair in my life (and my office!)
I'm excited about the bookcase ideas... Mine need a makeover!
I'm a pillow-holic as well. It used to be baskets...
I personally love the stripe pillows, although the floral are nice too.
Can't wait to see the girls' room.
Your house is amazing! It really looks like it's straight out of Domino Magazine. I LOVE the floral pillows, I would totally keep those. Thanks for the pretty eye candy and inspiration.
Everything looks great Lillie! I'd try the stripes and florals together. Both great to my eye. Wondering where you get your pillow inserts. I have a bunch of fabric for pillow making but need some affordable down inserts. :)
My favorite thing about this post? Mila's butt crack in the photo of her and Sophia by the pillow graveyard. But the house is beautiful too.
I just found your blog today and can't get enough of it! When I saw your living room photo I thought, "what a beautiful photo. I wonder what magazine that is." Only to realize that it is YOUR Living Room. Absolutely beautiful! And I love the colorful pillows!
Where are those pink floral pillows from?
Just found your blog today - you have a gorgeous home from what I've seen so far. I have to know where you got the small white chair in your living room from. I'm assuming it was a thrift find that you painted and recovered yourself but it is exactly what I've been looking for!
Liliie. Your house is GORGEOUS! I totally need to know where you got those pink "grandma" pillows. Because I want them- BAD! Also, mind sharing what sizes those pictures frames are in your photo collage? If I just know that huge one of the left I can figure out the rest. You're amazing. Thanks for sharing your home!
